Cabin Fever

It has been a long, long winter.

March in Nebraska is a horrible tease- it starts to warm up, and just when you think you’re going to have a beautiful weekend, it gets cold and rainy and snowy again.

I am longing for warm weather, and thinking often about my trip to Florida last year. It was the first time I’d ever seen the ocean. It was brilliant.

Last year was also the first time I went to North Dakota. I don’t know which I liked more- the emptiness of western North Dakota, or the immensity of the Atlantic Ocean. It’s a tough call.

I am more than done with winter for the year. This summer several friends and I will be heading up to the north woods of Minnesota for a week of fishing, photography, and all-around awesomeness.

    1. Thanks! We’d originally planned to go to Yellowstone, but figured there would be too many people there, so we decided on North Dakota instead. We ended up spending a couple of days exploring Theodore Roosevelt National Park. Good times.
